The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, handling, organizing, and moving materials throughout the facility to support warehouse and operational activities. This role ensures materials are accurately stored, staged, and available when needed while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and products. Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility. Prepare materials for production, shipment, or distribution. Maintain accurate inventory and ensure materials are stored in designated locations. Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as applicable. Assist with inventory counts and resolve material discrepancies as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Properly handle company equipment, tools, and materials. Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, and other internal teams. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required. Ability to operate material handling equipment safely, or willingness to learn. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
