As a Engineer, Software for John Deere Research & Development Center located in East Moline, IL , you will:
Develop Gen5 display software using C++ and Qt/QML in an embedded Linux environment Design, develop, and maintain Model-Based Software Design (MBSD) solutions utilizing MATLAB/Simulink for automation and embedded functionalities based on established architecture and design specifications. Implement features and resolve defects following defined requirements Participate in code reviews, testing, and software integration Collaborate with systems, PV&V, and senior engineers

Experience with C or C++, or MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow. Exposure to embedded Linux or real-time systems Strong problem-solving and communication skills What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with embedded Linux, real-time systems, or distributed systems Proficiency in Qt/QML, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or equivalent Internship or EDP experience in embedded software development Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
