The Sales Officer / Senior Sales Officer is responsible for driving primary and secondary sales, increasing distribution reach, improving product visibility, and ensuring commercial viability across the assigned territory. This role partners with channel partners, retailers, and sales teams to deliver sustainable business growth, execute market strategies, and achieve sales objectives. What will you do?
Achieve primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned territory. Drive market execution, merchandising, and range selling initiatives. Manage sales beats and improve throughput per beat and per sales representative. Coach and support TSIs to improve field execution and performance. Expand distribution by identifying new channel partners and growth opportunities. Engage key retailers and leverage local events to generate incremental business. Manage channel partner relationships and communicate sales objectives and business expectations. Negotiate schemes and resolve channel partner and retailer concerns. Analyze sales data, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions to achieve targets. Prepare reports and use DMS data, Excel, and business insights to support decision-making. Minimum Education & Requirements
Experience
5+ years of sales experience in General Trade with a minimum of 5 years of frontline sales experience. Experience in the chocolate or food industry is required. Strong knowledge of FMCG sales operations, territory management, channel partner management, sales execution, and distribution management is preferred.
