 Job Description Job Summary: Minor ingredients operator is responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, and preparing minor ingredient batches according to precise formulas and procedures, ensuring the quality and efficiency of the production process at Becton, Dickinson and Company. F-Shift 8pm - 8am 3-2-2-3 Schedule Job Responsibilities: * Accurately weigh and measure minor ingredients using scales and other measurement tools, adhering to strict tolerances. * Follow detailed batch records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ingredient preparation and mixing. * Maintain accurate inventory records of minor ingredients, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials. * Perform quality checks on ingredients and prepared batches, reporting any discrepancies or issues. * Operate and maintain various equipment used in the weighing and mixing process, including mixers, blenders, and scales. * Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to maintain a sterile and organized environment. * Adhere to all safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times. * Document all production activities, including batch numbers, lot numbers, and quantities. * Collaborate with other production team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations. * Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or process deviations to supervision. Job Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with ingredient handling. * Proven ability to accurately weigh and measure materials. * Strong attention to detail and precision. * Ability to read and interpret detailed instructions, formulas, and batch records. * Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. * Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety procedures. * Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Forklift experience preferred.
