About this role
Amazon is seeking a Change and Training Manager to lead organizational change, communications, training, and adoption for a multi-year transformation of Amazon’s Finance ERP platform. This leader will work across Accounting, Finance, Product, Engineering, Solution Architecture, Internal Controls, SAP, and implementation partners to prepare impacted teams for new systems, processes, controls, roles, and ways of working. This role will translate the ERP transformation roadmap into an executable change and training strategy. The Change and Training Manager will assess organizational impacts, identify affected stakeholder groups, develop targeted communications and learning plans, and measure adoption throughout design, testing, deployment, and stabilization. The ideal candidate combines experience leading change for large-scale Finance or technology transformations with strong program management and stakeholder-influence skills. They should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, communicating complex changes in practical terms, and working with leaders and employees across global organizations. This person will not simply create communications and training materials; they will identify barriers to adoption, establish mechanisms to address them, and ensure impacted teams can operate effectively in the future-state environment. The role requires knowledge of organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, communications, learning design, training delivery, adoption measurement, and business transformation. Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA, Oracle ERP, or comparable global Finance transformation programs is highly preferred. Key job responsibilities • Own the end-to-end change management and training strategy, plan, governance, and execution for the Finance ERP transformation. • Conduct change-impact assessments across organizations, processes, systems, controls, data, roles, and responsibilities. • Identify and segment impacted stakeholder groups and develop engagement strategies based on the nature and scale of change. • Create and execute an integrated communications plan that provides timely, consistent, and audience-specific information. • Develop the training strategy, curriculum, delivery approach, schedule, and completion requirements for impacted users. • Coordinate the development, review, testing, and delivery of training materials, including role-based courses, job aids, simulations, and support resources. • Define and monitor measures for stakeholder engagement, training completion, learner proficiency, adoption, and change effectiveness. • Identify adoption risks, resistance, capability gaps, and organizational impacts, and develop targeted mitigation plans. • Integrate change and training activities with design, testing, data migration, business readiness, cutover, release, and stabilization milestones. • Partner with leaders to clarify future-state roles, responsibilities, operating mechanisms, and organizational expectations. • Support deployment and stabilization by coordinating user support, reinforcement communications, refresher training, and adoption interventions. • Manage implementation partners and vendors supporting change management, communications, and training delivery. • Provide senior leaders with clear updates on organizational impacts, adoption risks, training readiness, and decisions requiring intervention. A day in the life You will work across Accounting and technology teams to prepare employees for new ERP processes, systems, and responsibilities. Each day may include assessing change impacts, resolving adoption risks, reviewing communications or training materials, and coordinating upcoming milestones. You will partner with process owners, program leaders, and implementation teams to ensure impacted users understand what is changing and are prepared to operate successfully.
