Job Summary
At Pratt & Whitney's Columbus Forge facility, you'll help power the future of flight by keeping critical manufacturing equipment operating at peak performance. As a Maintenance Planner, you'll plan and coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities that maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support the safe, efficient production of aerospace components. This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 PM What You Will Do: Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize production downtime. Develop and manage work orders, schedules, and equipment records using SAP while ensuring preventive maintenance is completed on time. Partner with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to coordinate planned equipment downtime and prioritize maintenance activities. Coordinate pre-kitting by ensuring required tools, parts, permits, and materials are available before scheduled maintenance begins. Analyze equipment performance, support root cause investigations, and recommend process improvements to improve reliability and maintenance effectiveness. Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and prepare reports using SAP and Microsoft Office while ensuring compliance with company safety and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
You Must Have: High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment involving equipment, production, maintenance, or operations support.
Qualifications
We Prefer: Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or maintenance coordination in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance programs and equipment reliability practices. Experience using SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, equipment downtime coordination, and production support. Experience supporting continuous improvement or lean manufacturing initiatives.
