Senior Industrialization Engineer - Electronics

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Senior Industrialization Engineer - Electronics.  What you’ll do: 
 Job Summary     The Senior Industrialization Engineer will support and execute electronics manufacturing and industrialization activities for new product introduction (NPI) projects, from development through release for production. This role will contribute to the development, validation, and implementation of robust electronics manufacturing processes, including PCBA assembly, test strategies, and supporting documentation, to support successful product launches and sustainable production. The position will provide technical manufacturing input for new and existing electronic products, collaborate with cross-functional teams and external electronics suppliers, and help identify and resolve technical and schedule-related challenges while supporting safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

1.    Support and execute electronics and PCBA industrialization activities for NPI and PLS projects from development through release for production. 2.    Provide manufacturing and electronics input to design decisions to improve manufacturability (DFM), testability (DFT), cost, quality, and component lifecycle robustness. 3.    Support the adoption and implementation of Industry 4.0 practices for electronics manufacturing in NPI projects. 4.    Coordinate the specification and procurement of electronics tooling, test equipment, fixtures, and capital assets. 5.    Support electronics prototype and pilot builds, including EMS coordination and pilot line readiness. 6.    Validate electronics products and processes against functional, regulatory, and performance requirements, and support yield improvement and issue resolution. 7.    Develop and implement electronics process controls, work instructions, test procedures, standard work, and operator training. 8.    Collect and analyze early electronics product and process data using DFSS, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies. 9.    Support electronic-related product cost tracking and capital expense forecasts for NPI and PLS programs. 10.    Support cost reduction initiatives and Continuous Improvement (CI) programs related to electronics manufacturing. Qualifications: 
 Education level required      Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.  Fluent in English Language ( Bilingual)  Years and area of experience required      Minimum of three years of engineering experience. Technical knowledge      Basic Qualifications: •    Experience working in an electronics manufacturing or plant operations environment. •    Working knowledge of production tooling, assembly fixtures, and test fixtures (e.g., ICT/FCT). •    Technical knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical components, assemblies, PCBAs, drawings, schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs). •    Working knowledge of electronics assembly equipment and related manufacturing processes. •    Knowledge managing Microsoft O 365, prefer: power Apps/ PBI Preferred Qualifications: •    Experience in new electronic product development and industrialization. •    Experience developing and deploying electronics production tooling and test fixtures, such as ICT, FCT, and programming fixtures. •    Working knowledge of electronics manufacturing quality tools, such as capability studies, gage R&Rs, and yield analysis. •    Knowledge of Six Sigma, VA/VE, and Lean manufacturing tools. •    Experience with shop-floor control systems and technologies supporting barcoding, traceability, serialization, and data collection. •    Working knowledge of electronics and electro-mechanical manufacturing processes, including PCB assembly, soldering, conformal coating, and final assembly. •    Experience working with Industry 4.0 technologies.   Skills:
