Every day, Global Payments makes it possible for millions of people to move money between buyers and sellers using our payments solutions for credit, debit, prepaid and merchant services.  Our worldwide team helps over 3 million companies, more than 1,300 financial institutions and over 600 million cardholders grow with confidence and achieve amazing results.  We are driven by our passion for success and we are proud to deliver best-in-class payment technology and software solutions.  Join our dynamic team and make your mark on the payments technology landscape of tomorrow.  -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with up to two years of experience in accounting, finance or a related environment. - Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and their application in a business environment is preferred. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate solutions and drive timely resolution. - Proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate confidently with colleagues at all levels of the organization. - Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, organization and attention to detail. - Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and data analysis techniques that drive informed decision making. - A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, learning and delivering high quality results. -Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements and internal control frameworks is preferred.
