Job Title: Manufacturing Technician D Job ID: 43300 Job Location: Camden, AR Job Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week Job Description: L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician D to join our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas. The Manufacturing Technician will join an exceptional cross-functional team of engineers and technicians to fabricate components and assemble them into the most advanced solid rocket systems in the world. L3Harris is an industry leading supplier of missile components to the government for use in national defense. The position will involve functions such as cleaning and assembling equipment, cleaning tools, parts, and work area and operate machinery. They will record and maintain records for manufactured products. Must work safely while producing a high quality product and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. Works under close supervision and receives detailed instructions, the Manufacturing Technician D performs routine and repetitive duties within the manufacturing operations area. Apply general manufacturing knowledge to basic problems to come up with logical answers. Essential Functions: · Follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. · Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, precision grinders, and other equipment, to produce parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exact tolerances and dimensions · Perform safety checks and ensure all tooling and machinery is compliant with safety standards and operating correctly. · Perform advanced setup, calibration, testing, rework, and troubleshooting across components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. · Assemble mechanical, optical, or electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational, quality, and cosmetic requirements. · Perform manufacturing activities in compliance with quality standards, specifications, and workmanship requirements. · Performs job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures. · Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures. · Accurately document work is performed and communicate effectively to ensure activities are properly recorded in accordance with customer and quality expectations. · Cultivate a culture that assures effective cross functional teamwork. · Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations. · Perform safety checks and ensure all machinery is compliant with safety standards. · Maintain professional standards of performance, conduct, and judgment at all times in accordance with company policies and procedures. · Support overtime, including nights, weekends, and extended hours, as needed to meet production schedules and business demands. · Must be able to obtain a US security clearance.
