Program Manager IV - Acute Care Informatics

**This role is hybrid and requires person to be onsite in Capitol Hill - Seattle, WA The Acute Care Informatics Program Manager bridges clinical operations, technology, and administration to advance the design, implementation, and optimization of clinical information systems in hospital and acute care settings. This role partners with hospital leadership, nursing, medical staff, and IT to improve clinical workflows, ensure data quality and regulatory compliance, and lead cross-functional program teams that improve patient care and operational efficiency. This role is central to two major concurrent acute care initiatives: the Central Hospital Capitol Hill Expansion and the consolidation of Epic instances into KP Anywhere. The Program Manager partners with clinical stakeholders to curate acute care clinical content, represents informatics in hospital and interregional governance forums, and fosters strategic relationships across clinical, IT, and business operations. They coordinate clinical informatics functions to advance quality improvement and ensure that tools and workflows align with organizational quality and safety goals.

Manages medium-to-large scale programs or components with multiple workstreams and strategic business goals across departments, functions, or regions with responsibility and accountability for achieving program outcomes from initiation to close-out in an extended or open-ended time frame. Leads the work of program teams by coordinating and monitoring internal and/or external resources. Proactively monitors and identifies program risks, issues, and trigger events by developing mitigation plans and strategies. Monitors compliance of program activities by ensuring program plans and team members adhere to relevant policies and procedures. Ensures the alignment, buy-in, coordination, and support of diverse program stakeholders. Assists with reviews of vendor performance levels, ensures service level agreements are met, and assists with contract negotiations with vendors.
