Job Description We are seeking a Sustainment Engineer Staff to join the RMS Global Sustainment, Information Systems & Innovation (IS&I) organization. The primary responsibility for this role will be leading the Canadian Maritime Helicopter Program (CMHP) Information Network (InfoNet) Integrated Product Team (IPT). The InfoNet IPT is responsible for managing access to Canadian software systems that support the Cyclone aircraft as well as overseeing the sustainment of the Integrated information Environment (IIE) software suite. The IIE software suite includes aircraft maintenance, aircrew and maintainer training, program management, integration with customer Human Resource systems and mission planning and analysis. The software is provided by our Canadian sub-contractors along with Sikorsky developed software. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills as well as a background in aircraft maintenance. Summary of Role Independently lead Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities for assigned LM program(s); serve as primary liaison for logistics, sustainment, and technical issues with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive sustainment software tools covering integration, logistics, maintenance, supportability, and disposal throughout the product lifecycle. Translate customer or product requirements into realistic solutions that balance technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Act as the internal design interface between support systems, concepts, and specifications; provide advice or training on system design and specifications to customers. Produce and present executive ‑ level status reports, sustainment metrics, and risk assessments to senior leadership and customers. Create and support automation of sustainment tasks; contribute to DevSecOps pipelines where security and reliability intersect with sustainment processes. Draft and manage Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and ensure quality assurance of all sustainment documentation. Submit weekly project status reports; work with project leads to gather, analyze, and document technical requirements. Contribute to statements of work for new business opportunities and support all requirement issues related to team projects. Identify and ensure compliance with all legal, export, and regulatory requirements. Lead cross ‑ functional projects and mentor junior staff; work collaboratively in a matrix environment with internal and external customers. Basic Qualifications Strong communication skills – clear, concise oral and written; ability to interact effectively with senior personnel, external customers, and suppliers. Proven ability to work with limited direction, manage complex systems, and drive projects to completion in a matrix organization. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Timeline) and project ‑ management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Ability to produce technical documentation, test plans, test cases, and executive ‑ level reports. Ability to acquire US Government Security Clearance US Citizen 5 + years of relevant experience in sustainment engineering, logistics, systems engineering, or a related technical role supporting defense or aerospace programs.
