PACCAR Financial supports the sale of PACCAR vehicles by providing flexible financing solutions and value-added services tailored to the transportation industry. Role Summary: The Lease Accountant supports PACCAR Financial’s lease accounting operations, sales and property tax reporting and close activities, partners cross-functionally with Admin Group, Used Truck Department and Tax and leads continuous improvement across accounting operations. Job Functions / Responsibilities
Perform month-end accounting close and balance sheet account reconciliations related to PFC’s lease portfolio, used truck sales and inventory transactions Support lease accounting operations, including reviewing new lease contracts set up by Contract Admin Group and processing payoff quotes in Asset Finance ERP system Prepare and file sales tax returns Process property tax payments and customer rebills, and prepare property tax renditions for various states Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and process improvement related to lease portfolio management and used truck processes Assist in preparation of MD&A and footnote disclosures on PFC’s form 10-Q/K filings Support internal, external and tax audit requests Complete special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of two years of relevant accounting or finance experience required. Strong technical accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, well-supported work. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Good knowledge of data analytic tools (i.e. Tableau, etc.) Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs. Benefits
