We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the team – You’ll work in a Cloud/Software Engineering role, working with teams to leverage and expand your client’s capabilities. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to translate customer needs, and assist others in migration and solutioning of mission critical capabilities. You’ll be responsible for working with current and new software development teams - understanding their architecture and development environment tooling to develop onboarding paths to your client’s platform. Organizations are rapidly evolving their cloud environments and ensuring those environments run securely, reliably, and efficiently is critical. As a DevOps Engineer, you will operate and optimize cloud platforms, automate infrastructure, and support mission focused teams as they deploy, scale, and maintain cloud-native solutions. You’ll strengthen your technical skills while helping clients achieve operational excellence across their cloud ecosystems. Work in a dynamic, large team environment supporting a large–scale government program, using next–gen tools, standards, and processes, including Kubernetes, Terraform/Terragrunt, and Python. Design and develop automation pipelines to drive rapid delivery of functionality using CI/CD tools such as GitLab. Use state of the art diagnostic tools and monitoring systems to provide analysis on Web application errors, including the identification and investigation of application behavior through code and log analysis and business logic Join us. You Have : 1+ years of experience with operating cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with container technologies, including Docker or Kubernetes Experience with scripting for automation, including Python, bash, or PowerShell Experience implementing and maintaining CICD pipelines with GitHub or GitLab Experience implementing Infrastructure or Configuration as code, including Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and cloud-native applications Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Ability to obtain AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified CloudOps, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification within 60 days of hire date Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire date Nice If You Have: Experience with Linux or Windows Server Experience with network fundamentals Experience with automation tools such as GitLab and GitHub Knowledge of Generative AI best practices, prompt engineering, agentic, and agentic workflows Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Compensation At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being.
