The Opportunity 
 Eligibility: Applicants must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain and maintain an active Australian Government Defence security clearance at the level required for the position.   As Senior Project Manager within the CSI-IPT DDG Program, you will lead the strategic delivery of the Design & Development stream. You will coordinate complex Systems Engineering activities across combat systems domains, working with the Commonwealth and major industry partners including Saab, Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems . Leading without direct authority, you will manage two Project Managers and influence up to 50 multidisciplinary specialists to deliver sovereign maritime combat capability for the Royal Australian Navy on schedule, within budget and to required standards. Your primary objective is to manage outcomes across the full systems engineering design lifecycle— encompassing domains that include electronic Warfare (EW), Communications and Information Systems (CIS), Above Water Sensors (AWS), Australian Interface Combat Management System (AI), Navigation (NAV), Design Modelling & Integration, and AEGIS Combat Management System to ensure a sovereign maritime combat capability is delivered with precision. This is a highly influential role requiring the ability to lead without direct authority,  steering a large multidisciplinary team across industry partners (Saab Australia, Lockheed Martin Australia and BAE Systems Australia) and the Commonwealth Key Responsibilities 
 Lead the scope, schedule and cost planning for DDG Tasking Statements, ensuring alignment with program objectives and budget. Provide strategic leadership as a member of the DDG Leadership Team, driving decisions, resource requirements and delivery outcomes. Manage end-to-end project execution, coordinating engineering activities, deliverables and milestones across compressed delivery timelines. Develop and maintain project plans, performance metrics and delivery artefacts to provide clear visibility of progress and technical performance. Lead risk and opportunity management, identifying complex challenges and implementing solutions to protect program outcomes.
