Operating under general direction, this role independently determines approaches to solutions, guides routine-to-moderate engineering challenges, and represents the organization in technical discussions with internal teams and external stakeholders. ​ Meet the team: Our Engineers have the privilege of working on complex, highly engineered machines and are involved at all stages of the aircraft life cycle, from product development to manufacturing and direct support to our airline customers. Your working environment: The Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama houses hundreds of Airbus engineers who assist in the design and development of Airbus commercial aircraft cabins, including aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations and services of all product types across the globe. Your challenages: Technical Mastery: Demonstrate complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in cabin engineering, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines. Complex Problem Solving: Develop imaginative, thorough, practicable technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Technical Signatory: Maintain the capability and progress toward obtaining Approve technical signatory authority for engineering deliverables. Documentation & Delivery: Independently create, review, and deliver high-quality technical documents and presentations without requiring direct guidance. Independent Approach: Operate under general direction to independently determine and develop technical approaches to projects and solutions. Program Contributions: Contributes directly to the successful completion of specific engineering programs and major projects.
