A Compliance Specialist owns daily operations for customs clearance on ocean, air, rail, and truck cross-border shipments. Key job responsibilities Drawback Entry Filing & Operations - Prepare and file duty drawback entries with CBP in accordance with 19 USC §1313 - Validate import and export data to establish drawback eligibility - Submit timely filings within statutory deadlines Data Management & Analysis - Collect, reconcile, and maintain import/export datasets to support drawback claims - Identify data gaps or discrepancies and work with internal teams to resolve - Build and maintain tracking reports for drawback claim status and recovery amounts - Perform data validation and quality checks prior to filing Regulatory & Compliance Support audit readiness by maintaining organized filing records and documentation
