Senior Project Manager- Nuclear

Summary or Description: Typically manages specialized, complex (high-impact) single projects or multiple, but similar type projects, including projects within the Nuclear sector where safety culture, quality assurance, configuration control, regulatory compliance and disciplined project execution are critical. This includes small and medium projects or a portion of a large or mega project. Develops and oversees project plans, including business, production, and/or organizational priorities. Produces integrated solutions to strategic issues and presents recommendations to customers. Solutions are derived from knowledge gained through past experiences and consultation with internal and external resources. May serve as a proposal manager for small to medium projects. Purpose: Provides direction and project management to ensure project completion in accordance with contractual obligations, with demonstrated experience supporting Nuclear projects and the rigorous safety, quality, regulatory and stakeholder requirements associated with the Nuclear sector. Defines project goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of customer objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies. Plans, organizes, manages, and controls projects with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by Worley. Supervises project personnel through subordinate leaders. Project managers will exhibit leadership skills necessary to achieve project goals.

Has led or participated in Constructability, Operability and Maintainability Workshops. Leadership Defines and selects team required to deliver scope of work. Effectively leads project team comprised of multi‐discipline/ multi‐location members. Sets clear objectives for the project team including scope, schedule, productivity and budget targets. Oversees, motivates and monitors the performance of the team, ensuring quality and timeliness of assignments and roles, and addresses any performance gaps. Implements communication tools and process to ensure all team members are informed about project status and key performance indicators. Demonstrates the ability to build support for ideas, presenting alternatives and recommendations persuasively. Technical Expertise Ensures Worley methodologies, processes, tools and systems are used throughout the project and compliance requirements are met/satisfied. Applies knowledge of all aspects of a project (engineering, procurement, quality control, etc.) to oversee the successful execution of the project plan. Applies Nuclear project delivery knowledge, including nuclear standards, codes, regulatory interfaces, quality assurance requirements, configuration management, and disciplined document control. Ensures design team is aware and complying with customer Basis of Design and applicable codes and regulations. Demonstrates attention to detail.
