As an MSPL Provider Engagement Intern at McKesson, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our business operations through data analysis and strategic insights. You will work closely with various departments and report directly to the Associate Vice President , MSPL Provider & Member Engagement. Intern Program Details: · Paid Internship · Full time / 10 weeks · Position will be based out of our Irving, TX location · The internship program provides networking, access to executives, structured performance & coaching · Experiential learning and training provided by exposure to subject matter experts Your contributions will aid in driving informed decision-making processes and optimizing customer purchasing strategies. Assist in analyzing and interpreting volume-based and performance-based medication contracts to support customer purchasing decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand probability of maximizing contract economics. Help develop, maintain, and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to stakeholders. – Support project management tasks, including documentation and progress tracking. Present competitive intelligence information as it relates a specific business landscape. Assist in the implementation of business plans and strategies. Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Pharmacoeconomics or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Skills: · Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. · Solid organizational and time management skills. · Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. · Ability to deliver error-free reports on deadlines. · Must be proficient in spoken and written English. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
