Job Responsibilities
What you will do Ensure the smooth delivery of all company wide recognition programs to employees. Delegate appropriate tasks/duties as needed to other recognition team members. Deliver an excellent recognition experience for all company sponsored plans (annual service rewards, million mile achievement rewards, etc.) Develop and implement user friendly processes that enable employees to receive and select gift or award. Advocate company goals with designated vendors relating to quality of awards, delivery and distribution. Ensure recognition database is maintained and provides employees with appropriate gift or award based on years of service, or driver achievement, etc.) Track expenditures and ensure cost assigned to correct GL. Communicate achievements to leadership and provide guidance on best way to recognize the individual's achievement. Adhere to and effectively communicate the recognition program award eligibility criteria and guidelines. Collaborate with the communications and marketing team to produce compelling and informative videos and communications. Lead efforts to coordinate nationwide events that recognize drivers and employees. (Million Mile Drivers, Driver Appreciation Week, etc). Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objective. Experience in transportation industry preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required. Must be able to manage programs from conception, to development, execution and completion. Must possess exceptional organizational skills and strong follow-up discipline. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to collaborate with others. Must be able to prioritize competing deadlines, and keep multiple programs moving without losing details. Must be a strong team player who can partner across departments and hold others accountable professionally. Must be comfortable reviewing data, identifying trends, and turning information into action plans.
