Commercial Surveying Graduate Location: Edinburgh Start D ate: 6 th September 2027 Programme Duration : 2 to 2.5 years Salary: £29,000 C ontract Type: Permanent Application Closing Date: Thursday 22nd October at 5pm What this job involves: Start your career in commercial real estate with JLL. From day one, you'll gain hands-on experience across a range of property disciplines while working towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). You’ll be based in the Edinburgh office working with specialists in real estate development, leasing , valuation and property transactions . Within the Graduate Programme you’ll g ain experience across the office, industrial, residential and student housing sectors as you rotate between JLL teams. This broad exposure will help you develop a well-rounded understanding of the real estate industry and identify where your interests lie. You'll join us on a 2-to-2.5-year train ing programme, working in a supportive and collaborative environment , providing an ideal environment for your professional development Anyone with a degree can join this programme, irrespective of discipline, as we are focused on training you to becoming a qualified and well-rounded professional. If you do not have an RICS accredited Real Estate degree, you will complete a fully funded online master's degree (MSc) in Real Estate with the University of the Built Environment as part of the graduate programme. You will be fully supported by both JLL and the University throughout your academic journey . What your day-to-day will look like: You’ll get involved in real work from day one that will help clients achieve their ambitions. The work will vary depending on the team you are in but below are some of what you’ll experience : You’ll research and keep up to date with relevant market insight and property legislation that may impact our work You’ll learn how to use various property systems/databases so we can collect information that will help us determining the best solution for clients You’ll build relationships across our business and clients to ensure we deliver a great service You’ll work with your team to draft and deliver work that may involve a variety of work, such as service charge budgets, presentations to clients, and valuation reports You’ll visit properties to carry out inspections or conduct client viewings You’ll take part in regular training in business skills, technical knowledge, and professional development to support your growth What you’ll get from us : We know that your unique backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives help us think bigger, spark innovation and succeed together.
