Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager leads the engineering organization responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI), New Source Introduction and source transfers, product changes, and capital projects. This role ensures manufacturing readiness and production ramp-up by aligning people, processes, tooling, equipment, capacity, quality, cost, safety, and schedules with business objectives. The position develops engineering talent, directs cross-functional execution, and drives sustainable improvements across machining, assembly, painting, and related manufacturing operations. Responsibilities : Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team, setting priorities and driving safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Lead DFM/DFA and design reviews, ensuring early Manufacturing and Product Engineering alignment. Develop and validate processes, layouts, standard work, PFMEA, control plans, capacity models, tooling, equipment, and automation. Improve productivity, flow, cost, quality, and process capability through Lean and data-driven problem solving. Ensure APQP, PPAP, process validation, launch readiness, operator training, and regulatory and customer compliance. Coordinate BOMs, routings, PFEP, material readiness, and manufacturing systems with Supply Chain and Operations. Manage project governance, engineering changes, risks, schedules, reporting, and delivery commitments. Own CAPEX business cases, prioritization, forecasting, controls, and on-time, on-budget execution. Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Expert in manufacturing engineering, including people leadership and responsibility for NPI, source transfers, process development, or capital projects. Advanced English Working knowledge of machining, assembly, painting, tooling, equipment, capacity planning, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, and project management.
