This position offers the opportunity to serve as a Research Specialist in 3M’s Analytical Laboratory, leading a broad range of global analytical requests in surface analysis. The role focuses on developing new analytical test methods based on a strong understanding of fundamental materials and products, while driving materials characterization, competitive analysis, performance and durability evaluation, manufacturing troubleshooting, customer complaint investigation, and data analytics solutions. It also provides the opportunity to take an active leadership role in global networking and collaboration. Through close partnership with diverse business organizations, this role supports problem solving for new product development and provides analytical data to address issues arising during customer application of products. The position also involves data-driven communication with internal and external customers and the execution of comprehensive analytical studies using a wide range of techniques.
