JOB SUMMARY
Jabil is seeking a TPM for Test fixture development who will directly contribute to the transformative growth in our Intelligent Infrastructure division by applying unique and innovative approaches to solving problems within our large-scale production environment. The TPM for Test fixture development plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of hardware products, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing process and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for contributing to the end-to-end architecture, definition, development and production deployment of production Test fixtures in our manufacturing regions. You will also be responsible for interfacing with our customers, fixture vendors and internal teams from engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure fixture deliverables meet the rigorous standards of Jabil’s world-class manufacturing environments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary responsibilities: Lead cross-functional mechanical design programs from concept through production deployment, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, business objectives, quality standards, cost targets, and schedule commitments. Serve as the primary technical program interface between customers, engineering teams, manufacturing operations, quality organizations, suppliers, and fixture vendors throughout the product lifecycle. Drive the development, validation, qualification, and deployment of production test fixtures, automation solutions, and manufacturing tooling across global manufacturing sites. Establish project scope, technical requirements, schedules, milestones, risk assessments, and resource plans to ensure successful program execution. Coordinate mechanical design, electrical design, controls engineering, manufacturing engineering, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and achieve project deliverables. Lead design reviews, technical assessments, and readiness reviews while ensuring engineering solutions meet performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost objectives. Drive issue resolution through structured problem-solving methodologies, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor program performance using key metrics and provide regular updates to customers and executive leadership regarding project status, risks, mitigation plans, and critical decisions. Manage external suppliers and development partners to ensure timely delivery of tooling, fixtures, prototypes, and production-ready solutions. Support new product introduction (NPI) activities by coordinating design transfer, qualification testing, manufacturing readiness, and production ramp activities. Facilitate change management processes, including engineering change orders (ECOs), design revisions, documentation control, and stakeholder communication. Champion innovation and process improvements to enhance engineering efficiency, product quality, manufacturing scalability, and customer satisfaction.
