DESCRIPTION: Join our Sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Instruments Sales Representative, where you'll grow our laboratory equipment business through strategic customer and channel partner relationships. In this role, you'll develop and implement sales strategies, collaborate across departments to ensure customer satisfaction, and serve as a segment expert in the laboratory equipment market. You'll participate in scientific events, build relationships with key opinion leaders, and lead business development initiatives to expand our market presence. This position combines strategic planning, relationship building, and technical expertise while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree, no prior experience required (laboratory equipment sales or related scientific product sales experience preferred) • Preferred Fields of Study: Science, Engineering, or related technical field, Life Sciences, Business Administration • Strong understanding of laboratory equipment market trends and competitive landscape • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and managing sales forecasts • Excellent relationship management skills with customers and channel partners • Proficiency in developing and executing strategic sales plans • Strong financial acumen for managing budgets and monitoring account receivables • Experience in participating in scientific events and engaging with key opinion leaders • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Customer Service, Product, and Supply Chain • Advanced presentation and communication skills • Travel required • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales forecasting tools • Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-focused mindset • Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration As the world leader in serving science, we empower our colleagues to advance innovative technologies, develop meaningful solutions and build rewarding careers.
