Grade Level (for internal use): 09 The Team: Sustainable1's Commercial team is at the forefront of expanding and deepening client relationships in the climate and sustainability space. We operate with a strategic vision to drive revenue growth while helping clients enhance their climate and sustainability initiatives. The Impact: We are looking for an Associate Commercial Specialist to help grow the business in Continental Europe. Responsibilities and Impact: Owns a new business sales target for an assigned territory Help the Continental European team identify new logos Design and execute new Go-to-market strategies in the region Identify cross-sell opportunities What We're Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 2+ years of relevant experience in ESG and sustainability solutions, customer support, sales or relationship management in B2B environments. Proven track record of either achieving revenue targets or managing complex client relationships and/or projects Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and ESG principles (e.g., EBA requirements, CSRD, SFDR, CSDDD, ISSB) and ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value propositions Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience leading client meetings, demos, and strategic planning sessions Strong working knowledge of CRM systems and prospecting databases (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, or similar), including maintaining detailed client records and pipeline management; familiarity with AI agents preferred Willingness to travel within Europe for client visits and represent the company at industry events Additional Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of client workflows in any of the following industries: non-financial corporates, financial institutions, professional services. Fluency in English. Any other European languages preferred.
