Performs operational duties in support of regulatory and/or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance documentation; coordinating the verification, approval, and processing of document revisions; and tracking document activity to ensure timeliness and process efficiency. Must Have
High School/GED and 2 years of additional education and/or experience Nice to Have
Strong technical knowledge of the Shipbuilding Construction process (Outfitting /Structural), i.e... Work package, NDT, Piping, Record Certification, Records Retention and storage. Must be able to work independently. Able to solve problems and have plenty of patience to enabling them to provide excellent customer support. Must have good written and verbal communication. Have knowledge to interpret drawings and work packages. Review and certify technical work documents for accuracy, (Work Packages, Work Permits and Pipe Weld Records etc.) to ensure the testing of a system meet the certification requirements for operation. Utilize Microsoft office applications. Open to new ideas/concepts that will improve processes, able to lift 40 pounds, ability to work well with others and able to adapt to changing work schedules. Must be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of Confidential DoD Security Clearance.
