The TMG Development program is a 12-month program for new college graduates in the TMG organization. Texas Instruments is looking for the right individual to become a Health and Safety Specialist for our company. If you have a passion for promoting a positive safety culture and a knowledge of job site safety requirements coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion dollar organization, this may be the position for you! Responsibilities include:

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards Identify the site EHS training needs and coordinating to organize the training programs Assist in the accident/incident investigation and recommend improvement/preventive measures Maintain a documentation system to keep corporate and mandatory EHS rules/regulations, communication materials, inspection and audit reports to ensure that the major activities are properly documented according to needs Provide technical assistance and guidance to site by leading safety committee team and meetings Provide engineering leadership and support for EHS regulatory interpretations and EHS considerations for management of change Act as site industrial hygiene coordinator for chemical, noise and food responsibilities Provide leadership for site EHS programs such as but not limited to fall protection, LOTO, machine guarding, ventilation, management of change, contractor safety, confined space, radiation safety, chemical safety and respirator
