Job Description
Team & Role Moveworks, now part of ServiceNow, is building the agentic AI layer that sits between every employee and the systems they rely on. Following the acquisition, the Moveworks Business Unit is one of the most strategically important investments at ServiceNow — and the scope of what we own is expanding fast. We are looking for a Director-level Technical Program Manager (Individual Contributor) to lead our most critical programs end to end, starting with the ServiceNow integration and growing into a broader portfolio over time as the BU scales. This is a senior, highly technical IC role for someone who has spent most of their career running infrastructure, platform modernization, or large-scale distributed systems programs. You will manage the program — directly, end to end — and your influence will come from technical depth, sharp judgment, and an ability to align engineering leaders, executives, and partner organizations around a single execution plan. As the Moveworks BU scope expands, so will yours. What you get to do in this role: Own the Moveworks Infrastructure portfolio of strategic and technical initiatives. Your primary focus will be to drive the roadmap and execution plans for Moveworks Infrastructure initiatives; as you scale you will also take over from engineering infra operational processes like capacity planning and budgeting Focus on initiatives expanding MW Infra footprint . We are moving to a tri-cloud + on-prem + SPC strategy where we need to develop the tools and process for managing our infra stack across diverse environments. Align any ambiguous strategic direction into concrete milestones, dependencies, and decision points. Run the program, not the people . As the TPM, you will be the connective tissue across engineering, product, design, security, GTM, finance, and field organizations — driving outcomes through clarity, structured decision-making, and relentless follow-through. Identify and resolve technical misalignment . Spot misalignment across teams, architectures, and roadmaps early — before it becomes a delivery risk — and partner with engineering leads to drive resolution quickly. Lead architecture reviews, surface cross-system risks (latency budgets, blast radius, multi-tenancy, AI safety, evals), and broker tradeoffs between engineering teams. Build the operating system for the program . Status, risk, scope, and decision logs that engineering directors and VPs actually read. Quarterly planning rhythms that reflect reality. Executive narratives that are honest about where things stand. Be the senior partner to engineering leadership . Pair directly with Distinguished Engineers, VPs of Engineering, and product leaders. Represent the program to the CTO, CPO, and executive staff. Own the message. Define TPM excellence . As we grow and expand our TPM team, you will serve as the model for how to operate. Set the standard for what senior technical program management looks like at Moveworks, mentor TPMs across the org without being their manager, and codify the patterns that scale.
