Survey CADD Operator

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Survey CADD Operator to join our Survey/Geospatial team in Houston, TX. In this role, you'll transform field survey data into accurate, high-quality drawings that support land development and infrastructure projects. Ability to draft parcels, or subdivision boundaries from legal descriptions using CAD techniques (Civil 3D). Maintains average skills in the use of AutoCAD (MicroStation a plus). Ability and knowledge to perform Topographic survey, ALTA survey, Boundary Survey, As built Survey etc. Ability to read and plot Legal descriptions. Performs drafting of portions of routine projects under direction of project surveyor. Understands surveying terminology. Prepares a variety of survey products. Adheres to AutoCAD standards manual.

High School Diploma/Equivalent; Associates Degree or a Certificate from a technical school, preferably in AutoCAD. 2-5 years of related experience. (Previous survey experience a plus). Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Carlson OEM or Embedded highly preferred. Work within a team oriented environment to successfully complete a high volume of projects within established budgets and deadlines. Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
