The Role
Computer Operators at Kyndryl are key in helping revolutionize the way we operate complex computer systems. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, supervise and control intricate networks and applications, and operate distributed systems in a multi-vendor environment.
As a Computer Operator you will be on the technical frontline – performing batch operations as per service agreements, analyzing first-level issues across systems, and resolving/routing issues as appropriate. You will also have the opportunity to develop support system management processes specific to customer requirements, ensuring that we provide the highest level of service to our customers.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise · At least 2 years’ experience in an Operations environment · At least 2 years’ hands-on experience working with Windows and Office products, including Word, Excel and Teams · Must have excellent customer relations/communications skills. Must have the ability to detect and troubleshoot problems and navigate independently. · Must be able to work an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) to maintain 24x7 support (any shift, weekends, holidays). · Candidates will be required to pass stringent background checks · Candidate should have working knowledge of Network fundaments such as Routers, Switches and Circuits. Skills Preferred · Working knowledge of the Major Incident process · Working knowledge of the Problem and Change processes · Experience with one or more of the following: · Access Credentials and Entitlements System (“ACES”), Ansible Controller, BMC TrueSight (BNA), Confluence, Control-M, Data Loss Protection (“DLP”) · Data Protection Suite Commcell Console, Dynatrace Enterprise Manager, FedIdentity · GitLab / GitHub, Grafana, Infoblox internet protocol administration (“IPAM”), Jenkins, Jira/Rally · Collaboration Platform, MIR3, Okta, Omnibus(Netcool), Privileged Session Manager (“PSM”) · PuTTy / Secure CRT, Secure Virtual Desktop · ServiceNow/Configuration Management Database (“CMDB”) · SevOne & Thousand Eyes, Splunk Enterprise, VMware vSphere, VMware Workspace ONE, WebSphere Admin Console
