We’re seeking an analyst to join our Derivatives Middle Office team supporting the operational lifecycle of Lincoln’s derivatives portfolio and hedging program on a Statutory, GAAP, Management & Tax reporting basis. This role partners with Trading, Treasury, Risk, Accounting, Legal, and Technology to ensure trades are accurately captured, confirmed, collateralized, reconciled, and settled while maintaining strong operational controls. This role will own trades across their lifecycle, keep settlements and collateral moving, reconcile positions and valuations, and continually look for ways to improve efficiency and straight-through processing. The position offers broad exposure to capital markets, treasury operations, financial systems, and process improvement, developing the expertise and cross-functional acumen required for long-term growth within Treasury, Risk Management, Capital Markets, Technology, and Investments. What you'll be doing
Owns trades across their lifecycle from capture through confirmation, ensuring they are accurately booked, affirmed with counterparties, and properly documented for audit and archival purposes. Manages cash and security settlements across derivative products, identifying exceptions early and partnering with counterparties and internal teams to resolve them. Manages daily collateral and margin processes for bilateral and cleared derivatives, reviewing margin calls and resolving discrepancies as they arise. Reconciles positions, cash, collateral, and valuations, investigates breaks, and maintains the evidence trail that supports internal controls, audits, and regulatory reporting. Identifies opportunities to reduce manual work and improve straight-through processing through new dashboards, reporting enhancements, and broader technology or enterprise initiatives. Builds automation, dashboards, and data-analysis solutions using tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, or VBA to streamline repetitive tasks and solve real operational problems. Designs spreadsheet models and workflows that address real operational needs and support the broader team. What we’re looking for

3-7 Years experience in finance that directly aligns to the specific responsibilities for this role Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Analytical skills and close attention to detail is necessary Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment
Nice-to-haves
SQL, Power BI, Python, VBA, Git or GitHub, Bloomberg, or Murex. Prior treasury or banking internship experience. A GitHub portfolio or personal projects (automation, data analysis, dashboards, or spreadsheet models) that demonstrate technical work. Progress toward certifications such as the CFA, FRM, or relevant technical credentials. Application Deadline
