The Role
IonQ is seeking a Head of Product for its Quantum Interconnect Platform to serve as the primary bridge between our internal R&D/engineering organization and our sales and go-to-market teams. This person will own the product narrative for the Quantum Interconnect Platform, translating deep technical R&D into a clear, compelling product and market offering, engaging directly with customers, and driving early commercial traction.
This is a hybrid product-and-market-facing role: part product manager, part technical storyteller, part early-stage specialty salesperson. You'll work closely with engineers to lead definition of the product roadmap, interface customers and business unit leadership to shape how the product is positioned, sold, and grown, and ultimately close the loop by feeding this information back into the product
