Job Description
Strong people leadership experience in large, complex technology delivery environments. Full ‑ stack engineering background (iOS Native Development, Swift, SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, APIs/microservices). 7+ years hands-on iOS development experience Experience delivering regulated, customer ‑ facing digital insurance or banking platforms at scale. Experience designing, developing, and integrating AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise applications to enhance customer and engineering outcomes Practical experience with DevOps, automated testing, and modern delivery practices. Working knowledge of AI ‑ assisted development and test automation. Evaluate and recommend AI/ML tools, frameworks, and patterns aligned to enterprise standards and emerging industry trends Expert knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organization issues Expert knowledge of TD applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, business / organization, Bank standards, and may fulfill a governance role In depth technical skills and a strong understanding of the team's product. Provide people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required Has a deep understanding of the technology and issues Can coordinate work outside own area of expertise Ensures solutions are consistent with departmental objectives Generally reports to a Senior Manager, in some cases to an executive Who We Are: TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
