JOB SUMMARY

Join ONEOK and play a vital role in safely maintaining the equipment that powers our energy infrastructure. We are seeking a skilled Mechanic - Intermediate who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, embraces accountability, and values teamwork, safety, and operational excellence. In this role, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of a wide range of fixed and rotating equipment, including engines, compressors, pumps, generators, turbines, valves, and other mechanical systems that support natural gas gathering, processing, and transportation operations. The ideal candidate is a dependable problem-solver who demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability, respond to operational needs, maintain accurate maintenance records, and help support safe and efficient facility operations. Experience maintaining industrial mechanical equipment, interpreting technical documentation, and utilizing hand and power tools is highly valued. This position is based at the Demicks Lake Plant in Keene, North Dakota , and follows a 4/10 work schedule that alternates between Monday-Thursday and Tuesday-Friday shifts. The successful candidate will also participate in an on-call rotation supporting the Garden Creek Plant approximately one week out of every eight weeks.

Job Profile Summary Performs activities related to mechanical work on equipment at compressor, pipeline, storage, gathering, fractionation and/or gas processing facilities. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Perform mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment at various locations including, but not limited to: Internal combustion, diesel, natural gas powered engines and electrical drivers Compressors, pumps, generators, turbines, valves, electrical equipment, and well equipment Service, troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair structural, mechanical, electrical and/or well equipment. Conduct performance analyses, including emissions testing Order and/or secure parts and supplies Maintain, prepare and/or interpret reports and/or records including, but not limited to: Work logs and service orders Inspection reports Engine/equipment maintenance and repair records Pressure readings Material and supply orders Engine and compressor oil analysis reports Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
