Overview
The Digital Account Manager (DAM) is responsible for driving customer success, business growth, and digital transformation across a portfolio of small and medium-sized customers. The role focuses on building trusted customer relationships, identifying business priorities, accelerating adoption of Microsoft solutions, and helping customers realize value from their technology investments. Working closely with specialists, partners, and cross-functional teams, the Digital Account Manager develops account strategies, drives consumption and renewal motions, and supports customers through every stage of their digital transformation journey.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of Small and Medium Business customers within an assigned territory. Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and become a strategic advisor on business and technology priorities. Drive adoption, usage, and business value realization across Microsoft cloud solutions including Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, and Business Applications. Identify, qualify, and progress opportunities that align with customer outcomes and business goals. Develop and execute territory and account plans that support revenue, consumption, and customer success objectives. Partner with technical specialists, partner ecosystem teams, customer success units, and marketing to deliver customer impact. Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity hygiene within Microsoft sales systems. Lead customer engagements virtually through discovery sessions, business reviews, workshops, and executive conversations. Drive customer retention, renewal, expansion, and advocacy by ensuring customers maximize value from their Microsoft investments. Stay informed on industry trends and customer challenges to provide relevant business insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications Experience in technology sales, account management, customer success, or business development. Demonstrated ability to build relationships with decision-makers and business stakeholders. Experience managing customer portfolios and achieving revenue, consumption, or growth targets. Effective communication, presentation, and virtual selling skills. Ability to develop territory plans, manage pipelines, and forecast accurately. Proven collaboration skills across cross-functional teams and partner organisations.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of cloud technologies, SaaS, AI, security, or digital transformation solutions. Experience selling or supporting Microsoft technologies and services. Experience working with small and medium-sized businesses. Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline, or equivalent experience. Growth mindset with a passion for customer success and continuous learning. Digital Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 62,200.00 - € 92,100.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
