As a Public Sector Business Manager within Receivables Operations, you will serve as a strategic Business Management partner for Public Sector Lockbox, translating leadership priorities into an executable plan and a dependable operating cadence. You will own core business routines and governance (touchpoints, OKR reviews, and Monthly Business Reviews), ensuring decisions are clear, outcomes are documented, and action items are driven to closure. You will work across Operations, Product, Technology/Applied AI, Finance, HR, and Controls to align stakeholders, coordinate communications, and drive cross-functional delivery from intake through completion. You will produce executive-ready materials, status reporting, and analysis that surface insights, improve productivity and client experience, and reduce risk. You will also serve as an early escalation point for issues, risks, and misalignment, framing options and trade-offs to enable timely decisions. Job responsibilities

Partner with leaders across Operations, Product, Technology/Applied AI, Finance, HR, and Controls to define needs, align objectives, and deliver priorities Own the Public Sector operating cadence by running touchpoints, OKR reviews, and Monthly Business Reviews with reliable execution and clear outcomes Build agendas, decision points, and pre-reads; coordinate presenters and logistics to ensure meetings are decision-driven and well-prepared Facilitate discussions, document decisions, assign owners and timelines, and drive action-item follow-through to closure Manage cross-functional initiatives end-to-end from intake and scoping through execution, delivery, and closeout Produce executive-ready materials, business reviews, and briefing content for senior leaders and key events Deliver data-driven analysis and recommendations that improve productivity, strengthen client experience, and reduce risk Standardize communications across channels to summarize progress, surface issues/risks, and clarify next steps Escalate emerging risks, issues, and misalignment early by framing options, trade-offs, and recommended paths forward Strengthen team effectiveness by improving ways of working, documentation quality, and process discipline

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

5 years of experience in business management, business operations, chief-of-staff/COO support, or program/project management within a large, matrixed organization Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive follow-through without direct authority Hands-on experience running operating cadences and governance routines, including agendas, pre-reads, minutes, action logs, and closure tracking Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize inputs into crisp, decision-oriented updates tailored to audience Proficiency in PowerPoint, including executive storylines and clean, structured visuals Proficiency in Excel, including pivots/lookups and KPI/OKR tracking for basic-to-intermediate analysis Proven ability to manage work from intake to completion, including scoping, planning, dependency management, and risk/issue tracking Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort using data to identify themes and
