Posting Date 09/18/2026 3000 Davita Way, Deland, Florida, 32724-2039, United States of America General Purpose of the Job The Automated Line Operator III (Lab) assists the supervisor and manager with the workflow, scheduling, and organization of department activities. This role will partner with inter-departmental teams and instrument support teams to support and optimize complex processes in a regulated environment. Tracks department competencies and daily forms, and assists in updates of department policies. Supports and assists with Automated Line Operator I and II tasks and other duties identified by the supervisor or manager. In the absence of the supervisor or manager, this teammate serves as the point person for teammates and is accountable for daily operations. This position reports to the Supervisor/Manager, Clinical Support (Lab). Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supports Lab TAT: Monitors and is responsible for the automation line performance during each production run, communicates with each department when the line is performing sub-optimally, makes adjustments during the production run within the scope of training, and/or escalates to higher-level support staff when appropriate. Work closely with instrument support teams to identify and resolve track automation issues, and collaborate for process improvements Optimize and maintain existing automated or semi-automated processes to improve efficiency, throughput, robustness, and quality. Review DMS data with bi-hourly updates to identify TAT impact proactively Review line status reports and communication for necessary adjustments Review/edit projections Assists the department and Automated Line Operator Supervisor with the following tasks: Work with Automated Line Operators for troubleshooting and process improvements Develop automation standard operating procedures and test automated line workflows. Conduct daily homerooms Creates content for Automated Line Operator meetings Completes Automated Line Operator competencies and maintains competency tracker Creates/maintains Automated Line Operator schedule, monitors daily workflow, staffing, and scheduling needs Sign off and final check of maintenance logs Performs Automated Line Operator I and II duties Other duties as assigned At DaVita, we strive to be a community first and a company second.  We want all teammates to experience DaVita as "a place where I belong."  Our goal is to embed belonging into everything we do in our Village, so that it becomes part of who we are.
