The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to communicate effectively across engineering disciplines and up to program senior and executive leadership. Must be able to work collaboratively to resolve issues, determine priorities, and implement solutions. The candidate will provide the following but not all-inclusive technical support to the program: Provide performance feedback, training, mentoring, coaching and career development for your employees. Tracking to completion tasking and assignments for the team, assisting with workload balancing across team members, collecting metrics, and performing other project management functions as applicable. Collaborate with design process and governance team and other engineering assignment managers/leads to align priorities and support overall execution of program objectives. Provide performance feedback, training, mentoring, coaching and career development for your employees. Support workforce planning and maintain sufficient depth and breadth of skillsets within your department’s core discipline to meet program needs. Excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with homeroom directorate senior management, peers, and employees. Support development and refinement of processes and tools that support business areas and programs in achieving their missions. Support proposal work, independent technical reviews, program standup and audits, and special assignments on an as needed basis. Support employee engagement, hiring, development, training, attraction, and retention of top talent. Responsibilities, for this job, include providing CM/DM Leadership to a Program. Leading a team of highly skilled, exempt and non-exempt CM/DM Professionals. Planning and preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Reviewing contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyzing proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinate modification records for management control.
