THE WORK
Ripple is looking for a highly skilled Privacy Senior Manager to join our team. This opportunity empowers you to strengthen, scale, and manage the programmatic and day-to-day activities of our Global Privacy Program. You will be a proven individual contributor, helping us drive our privacy initiatives and elevate our operational standards globally.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Assist in managing the day-to-day aspects of global privacy operations, including processing data subject requests, improving current processes, updating inventory, and data mapping, and leading privacy impact assessments.
• Support the continued development and operationalization of the global program, including updating policy and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed about relevant global privacy legislation and lead the implementation of any new requirements that may arise.
• Develop and conduct privacy training to ensure adoption throughout the organization.
• Maintain program metrics to proactively identify risks and trends.
• Support and maintain privacy tools.
• Prepare ad-hoc and quarterly reports, presentation slides, and program material for employees, subsidiaries and senior leadership.
• Provide operational support to the Regulatory Compliance team in ad-hoc matters related to licensing, operational resilience, outsourcing and others.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college.
• 6-8+ years of privacy program management experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the financial technology or crypto industry.
• Experience drafting and reviewing privacy related contract terms.
• Experience supporting global privacy initiatives, including understanding of US state privacy laws, EU GDPR, UK data protection regulations, and other international privacy regimes.
• Strong analytical, organizational and program management skills, with an attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, work well under pressure, and adhere to deadlines.
• Strong communication (presentation, writing, speaking) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to tailor content to specific audiences and break down complex requirements into actionable requirements.
• Commercially-minded team player who embraces uncertainty and excels at solving complex privacy issues within the financial services sector.
• Comfortable completing tasks independently in a team environment with minimal supervision.
