Job Description
The Quality Analyst is responsible for monitoring and evaluating operational performance against established quality, productivity, timeliness, and accuracy standards. This role identifies trends, documents quality findings, and provides insights that support employee development, process improvement, and risk mitigation. The Quality Analyst ensures adherence to internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct quality reviews of work completed within the assigned business area to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures. Monitor performance metrics related to quality, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness. Document quality findings, trends, and improvement opportunities and provide reporting for management review. Support coaching and training initiatives by providing quality-related feedback and recommendations. Ensure compliance with internal policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with business partners to identify process improvement opportunities and enhance overall operational effectiveness. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality assurance activities.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Typically two or more years of experience in quality assurance, quality analysis, auditing, operational controls, or related activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Strong knowledge of products, services, and operational processes within the assigned business area. Understanding of quality standards, productivity metrics, and performance measurement methodologies. Experience utilizing business systems and applications relevant to the assigned function. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
