Role
Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead Gross Margin planning and analysis, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure costs and operational efficiency. This role will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Cloud Operations, Procurement, and senior Finance leaders to improve cost visibility, strengthen financial accountability, and identify opportunities to optimize gross margin. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, comfortable working with complex datasets, and able to translate detailed financial analysis into clear and concise business insights. This individual should be proactive, intellectually curious, and willing to go deep into cost drivers while maintaining a strategic view of the business.
Your Impact
Lead gross margin planning, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis, providing clear insights into key cost drivers, risks, and opportunities. Manage and analyze cloud infrastructure spending across major cloud service providers, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Develop financial models and operational metrics to improve visibility into cloud consumption, infrastructure utilization, unit economics, and product-level profitability. Build strong partnerships with Engineering, Product, Cloud Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams to influence investment decisions and drive cost accountability. Identify and lead opportunities to optimize infrastructure spending, streamline financial processes, and improve the accuracy and scalability of reporting. Provide proactive recommendations and executive-ready communication to support gross margin improvement and long-term business planning.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ Years of significant experience in financial planning and analysis, gross margin management, cost management, or a related finance leadership role. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure economics, technology costs, cost allocation, unit economics, and financial forecasting. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex and detailed financial and operational data while identifying the most important business insights. Excellent business partnership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and proactively drive decisions. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong ownership, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex topics to senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing or analyzing spending across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Experience automating and streamlining financial planning, reporting, forecasting, or cost-management processes. Proficiency with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Experience using
