Job Duties and Responsibilities Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview.   EchoStar requires a Lead Financial Analyst to navigate complex valuation, M&A activities, and business case development across a growing portfolio. This role solves capital allocation and strategic growth challenges by constructing robust financial models and conducting deep-dive market analyses. Successful performance ensures senior leadership has clear, data-driven insights to make high-stakes operational and transactional decisions.   What Success Looks Like (Objectives) Lead end-to-end M&A workstreams, financial due diligence, and valuation modeling to support strategic transactions and capital allocation decisions Construct and maintain complex forward-looking financial, subscriber profitability, and NPV models that directly inform corporate strategy and performance Perform comprehensive market research and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and structural risks within the industry landscape Synthesize complex data and due diligence findings into highly polished presentation materials for senior leadership Partner with cross-functional operational groups to analyze performance metrics and forecast revenue and cost drivers Apply generative AI and predictive analytics tools to accelerate financial modeling, data extraction, and strategic analysis workflows Skills, Experience and Requirements Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring) Advanced expertise in financial modeling, corporate valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, precedents), and M&A deal structures Critical experience executing complex corporate transactions, strategic partnerships, and deep financial due diligence Deep analytical capability in evaluating subscription business metrics, capital expenditure proposals, and competitive market intelligence AI literacy and application skills, specifically utilizing AI copilots and automated tools to optimize financial analysis workflows Strong collaborative abilities to partner across cross-functional teams and synthesize complex financial findings into concise executive presentations Strong problem-solving skills to independently gather unstructured data, establish concrete facts, and deliver objective recommendations   Additional Qualifications MBA, MS-Finance, or related Master's degree Telecom industry experience   Minimum Requirements Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or M&A Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 5 years of experience with: Financial modeling (DCF, comparable company analysis, NPV) Valuation methodologies and M&A deal structures Subscription business financial metrics (ARPU, churn, subscriber lifetime value)   Visa sponsorship not available for this role Salary Ranges Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: EchoStar Benefits .   The base pay range shown is a guideline.
