Summary and Scope Atrial Fibrillation (AFIB) is a quivering or irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) that can lead to blood clots, stroke, heart failure, and other heart-related complications. Twenty million people worldwide suffer from AFIB each year. Biosense Webster, Inc. is the global leader in the science of diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. The company established its leadership in electrophysiology through the development of the first real-time 3D cardiac mapping and navigation technology, as well as the first electrophysiology catheter. The launch of the CARTO® 3 System in 2009 revolutionized 3D mapping technology by improving the accuracy, speed, and efficiency of cardiac ablation procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized clinical product support, technical assistance, and training to physicians and EP lab staff on the effective use of Biosense Webster (BW) catheter systems and equipment (including the CARTO® System, related software modules, and RF generators) during procedures within an assigned territory, contributing to and exceeding business objectives. Train customers on all BW products to optimize utilization through technical and clinical education and in-service training. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and increase customer value. Use consultative selling techniques to identify potential sales opportunities within accounts. Increase awareness of BW solutions and facilitate engagement between commercial teams and key decision-makers to drive incremental business. Maximize customer case support capacity through effective planning and scheduling.
