Here's how a Quality Supervisor for PCL Construction Management Inc. within Edmonton Buildings contributes to our team: Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities for civil and building construction scopes. Review prime contracts, subcontracts, project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes to identify quality requirements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Participate in pre-construction planning and constructability reviews to identify quality requirements, inspection milestones, and project quality risks. Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection checklists, and quality procedures. Plan, coordinate, assign, and oversee inspection activities performed by Quality Coordinators and Inspectors. Perform and oversee inspections of civil and building work, including earthworks, underground utilities, foundations, reinforcing steel, concrete, structural steel, architectural finishes, waterproofing, building envelope systems, and site development. Witness inspections and testing activities, verify compliance with project specifications, and ensure quality records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained. Identify quality risks and implement preventive measures to minimize defects, rework, and schedule impacts. Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), including investigations, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, verification of effectiveness, and closeout. Coordinate with construction management, engineering, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, consultants, and third-party testing agencies to resolve quality issues efficiently. Verify that delivered materials, equipment, and installed products comply with approved submittals, project specifications, and applicable standards.
