Role description: Manage key elements of larger cost management assignments or a broader range of responsibilities on smaller projects, under the guidance of a QS Director, to deliver successful outcomes for clients. Role accountabilities:
Support the delivery of Retail, Workplace, Fit-out, Refurbishment, Maintenance, and Renovation projects for a major multinational corporate client. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects progress smoothly, addressing requests and issues in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in the preparation and validation of project cost estimates and pricing models, utilizing first-principles estimating, benchmark rates, and industry cost data. Support the preparation of cost plans, bills of quantities, tender documentation, tender evaluations, and contract documentation, including tender analysis and recommendation reports. Work closely with programme managers, project managers, senior project managers, and planning teams to provide commercial support and meet project reporting requirements. Manage assigned workload effectively to ensure projects receive appropriate commercial and contractual support throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with project teams to identify, assess, and monitor project risks, maintaining and updating risk registers as required. Contribute to the delivery of high-quality cost and commercial management services across multiple projects and programmes.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline preferred. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and/or Cost Management. Proven experience working within consultancy and corporate client environments. Experience delivering workplace, fit-out, refurbishment, retail, or corporate real estate projects is highly desirable. Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and delivering projects of varying scale and complexity. Strong commercial, contractual, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Good to fluent command of Cantonese, both written and spoken. Professional membership (e.g., HKIS, RICS, or equivalent) is mandatory.
