The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan’s elite summer internship program. What You Will Do
The intern will work closely with Kinder Morgan professionals, specifically focused on technical accounting: derivatives, hedging, and research, through on the job training and hands-on assignments including, but not limited to, allocations, journal entries, reconciliations, research, and financial reporting. The intern will have the opportunity to work with two or more functional areas of Kinder Morgan: Accounting Policies and Procedures, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Segment Accounting Assist in monthly close process What You Need Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Entering Junior or Senior year of college Minimum 3.0 GPA Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, MS Word, & Outlook Ability to learn, work independently, and complete tasks in a timely manner Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to deadlines Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills: listens intently; writes and speaks clearly Takes initiative, highly adaptive, pays attention to detail, and works efficiently Why Join Kinder Morgan Kinder Morgan is a large energy infrastructure company operating in North America.
