These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions. Those in international tax at PwC will provide advice and guidance to clients on structuring their global tax positions. Your work will involve analysing international tax laws and regulations to develop strategies that optimise tax efficiency and minimise risks for multinational businesses.
Your Impact
Support Swiss and international Financial Services clients, including banks, asset managers and wealth managers, in navigating complex cross-border corporate tax matters. Contribute to the delivery of international tax advisory projects by analysing regulations, assessing tax implications and supporting the development of practical solutions for clients. Assist in coordinating international projects across direct tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing, collaborating with specialists from different jurisdictions and service lines. Participate in challenging engagements such as corporate restructurings, transactions, and the structuring of investment funds and financial services operations. Assist in the day-to-day management of a diverse client portfolio and support the delivery of high-quality work in a dynamic environment. Expand technical expertise in international corporate tax while developing project management, communication and interpersonal skills through hands-on experience and continuous learning. Your Skill Set University degree in Business Administration, Law, Economics or a related discipline, preferably with a focus on Tax or International Tax. 1-4 years of experience in international corporate tax or EU tax, gained within a tax advisory firm, law firm or comparable professional services environment. Strong interest in international tax developments and the evolving global tax landscape affecting Financial Services businesses. Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex fact patterns, identify key issues and develop practical solutions while maintaining a broader business perspective. Professional fluency in English; German language skills are considered an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a collaborative, client-focused and team-oriented approach. Committed, flexible personality with strong communication skills. An LL.M. in International Tax would be considered an advantage.
