Senior Nurse Sonographer Location: The Lister Hospital, Chelsea, London London Contract type: Temporary Contract to cover Maternity Leave until August 2027. Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, between Monday-Friday with one Saturday per month Shifts: Weekdays can consider 0800-1700/0830-1630/0800-1800 and Saturday 0800-1300 Salary: Competitive dependent on skills and experience, including fantastic benefits such as private healthcare. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Nurse Sonographer to join our Ultrasound team at The Lister Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. The Lister Hospital, located in Chelsea has consistently provided care and treatment in London for over 30 years. We offer access to leading consultants from London's top teaching hospitals and contemporary treatment, with several highly specialised units including fertility, gastroenterology medicine and orthopaedics and surgery. With 60 beds across three floors, we offer a specialised service, bespoke to our patient’s needs. Working within a specialist fertility service, you will manage a varied scanning list, performing high-quality pelvic, transvaginal and abdominal ultrasound examinations, including follicular monitoring scans, to support patients throughout their fertility journey. This role is part of a service that operates six days a week, Monday to Saturday, with staff receiving time off in lieu for Saturday working. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring examinations are carried out to the highest clinical and professional standards while maintaining accurate patient records and supporting service efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Sonographer with a Nursing background and strong ultrasound expertise and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in fertility ultrasound, including follicular tracking and monitoring, would be highly desirable, alongside competency in both 2D and 3D ultrasound imaging.
