Leads business operations activities within the Machine Vision business unit designed to align the team and advance progress against goals and initiatives. Owns the effective and efficient internal workings of the senior leadership team. Plans and executes business operations priorities in support of broader business or functional objectives. Responsible for formulating and administering policies and programs. Additional responsibility for driving business strategic initiatives and implementing productivity improvement opportunities. Leads significant programs, and functions with a very high degree of autonomy. Has overall control of planning, staffing, and managing priorities. Creates, recommends, and implements changes to methods and influences final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensuring operational achievement of objectives by developing and maintaining a set of KPIs. Translates business strategy and direction into actionable outcomes through interaction and collaboration with key stakeholders Responsibilities: Creates, drives, and proactively modifies the IA/MV BU operating system, including but not limited to, staff meetings, monthly reports (such as P&S financials updates) and KPI dashboard updates, quarterly operations reviews and All Hands meetings, quarterly earnings and Board of Director reports, and complex offsite sessions Collaborates with the functional senior leadership team and support resources on a variety of structural, systemic, process, and learning elements to advance achievement of business objectives Manage strategic initiatives designed to drive greater adoption of Machine Vision solutions.  Define scope of the initiatives by working with BU stakeholders Drive alignment and execution of key initiatives across cross-functional teams to ensure timely deliverables Report KPI’s and status of the initiatives throughout the implementation process. Proactively identify potential issues and escalate when necessary. Facilitates dialogue in leadership communities through effectively planning agendas, engaging the team, and managing the time. Owns maintenance of the community SharePoint sites as a primarily vehicle for information sharing with people leaders Contributes to / leads various steering committees aligned to the function / business unit advancing Zebra culture, I&D, and the business in material ways. Leads multiple simultaneous moderate-to-complex initiatives across functions. Independently engages additional resources as needed to address obstacles or delays. Adjust the plan with management buy-in as delays/obstacles are experienced. Assists, creates, and supports facilitation of project framework for key external operational partners Interfaces with various Zebra business resources and analysts to assemble and organize, synthesize, and meaningfully interpret information valuable for business decision-making.
