The Industrial Engineer I plays a crucial role in optimizing Jabil's manufacturing processes. This entry-level position focuses on identifying inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, and contributing to the overall productivity and cost-effectiveness of operations.

Conduct time studies, work sampling, and other industrial engineering analyses to identify process bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistent and efficient production. Participate in the design and optimization of production layouts, workstations, and material flow systems. Collect and analyze production data to track performance metrics, identify trends, and support decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and supply chain, to implement process changes. Assist in the development and implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Support the evaluation and selection of new equipment and technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and project progress. Contribute to cost reduction efforts through process optimization and waste elimination. Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with industrial engineering tools and techniques (e.g., time studies, process mapping, lean manufacturing). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to interpret and analyze data to draw actionable conclusions. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and principles. Prior internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
